Through advanced study, clinical experience, and rigorous certification, CHTs provide expert care to help patients recover mobility, reduce pain, and regain function in their upper extremities.

Becoming a CHT requires a significant commitment to advanced clinical practice, including:

Over 4,000 hours of direct clinical practice in hand therapy
A minimum of three years of clinical experience
Passing a comprehensive certification exam
Recertification every three years to stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in hand therapy techniques
