Thank you FSPT of Woodsfield for helping me to recover so quickly after my knee replacement. I greatly appreciate all the support and guidance you’ve given me. When I entered the first day i was in such severe pain that I had not slept.  Nothing I had tried was helping.  On the very first day, I learned how weak my shoulder had become due to the lack of mobility and the pain. When I began that first day, I was in tears. The heat I had been using I, I was taught was creating more pain.  With their suggestion of icing, it gave me relief to be able to do the exercises and to sleep. That long needle I seemed to have in my shoulder was isolated and the pressure on it relieved.  I began to have restful sleep again and the ability to strengthen the arm and shoulder that had become weak. Each of the therapists were competent , caring, and concerned for my wellbeing every visit.  Appointments were scheduled that I could easily attend and the front desk had an easy to follow sheet ready for me when I left. Confirmation texts made it seamless to remind me to confirm the appointments. The facility is easily accessed, clean, bright and cheerful.  In spite of the persistent Snows of 2026, parking lots and walkways were cleared and safe.  Each step of the way First Settlement Physical Therapy  shines brightly, and has given me manageable exercises that I believe will keep that nasty alien pain from my shoulder. Should I need care or evaluation in the future, I would return here will suggest it to a friend needing care close to home.

I have been doing my Therpy after multiple surgeries over the past few years at the Woodsfield clinic first settlement facility. The staff is very friendly and personable. They are very good at what they do and if you do what they ask to do & do all the reps of each exercise correctly you will leave in much better shape than when you started. I finished my sessions from lumbar spine fusion last week and I’m scheduling my second Knee replacement surgery today. So the ladies won’t get much of a break from dealing with me.

It is a wonderful facility. Easy access to room from parking lot. Bathrooms are wonderful. What really makes this place tick though are the girls that work there. Kayle is the most efficient and friendly receptionist I’ve ever dealt with. She is so good at scheduling and always tries to get the times you want.  Demitra is good at running a tight ship.She is a wonderful person! She knows her stuff and knows when to increase or decrease exercise. If she doesn’t know how to answer a question, she finds out. She is so kind and friendly. Amanda is wonderful. She makes you feel right at home and watches closely so that you are doing things correctly. She is very friendly and kind. Enjoyed getting to work with Brandi again recently, and it was fun to have Victoria back this week one day. I’m down to 5 sessions of therapy and I’m going to say I will really miss this place and the women that work there. I would recommend, and I do recommend often, Woodsfield FSPT to everyone. I had never been to therapy but everyone was very nice, helpful, and patient. Even though my needs were more than they could fix, they did help me in other ways. Definitely recommend!! Great group of people!!
