The physical therapists and staff at the New Lexington office are very encouraging and caring. They are patient and help you to reach goals. They tried to keep the atmosphere fun, enjoyable, and challenging so that you can improve. In my experiences they keep in mind what you are dealing with and encourage you throughout the whole process. I had a great experience with FSPT in New Lexington.  The staff was knowledgeable and compassionate in recognizing the physical limitations from my injury and then provided the individualized treatment I needed to successfully navigate my eventual surgical options. Where do I start? Upon entering the facility I instantly smelt an odor.... an odor that I've smelted before. And I was like " Holy Mother Of GOD  someone had chili and tacos and then more chili,then came here."    When I looked around I had some suspicions of whom it may have been. It was one of them odors that follow you around for the day. But like any good follower of Christ, I brushed it off.      The first visit was a little awkward, mainly because of the odor and the lack of anyone commenting about the odor.  The therapist was nice. Visit - 2.   The door was opened for me, and I was greeted with a smile and one of them ginormous lolli pops that are the same size as a basketball. A hint of the odor still lingered but not unbearable.      My first thought was that the lolli pop was to mask the odor. Either way,  it was appreciated! Visit 3 -  The door was slightly ajar as I went to enter,  I proceeded with caution. THE ODOR WAS GONE!!!!!!      I felt more confident about the care that was taken to ensure my visit was pleasant.  Awesome music was playing, and I found my groove on that hand bike.  And let me tell you about one of my massages that I recieved. OH BOY,.... I was laying there, in complete comfort, getting my shoulder rubbed down.  The sun was shining through the window,     I could feel the warmth,  along with the awesome sun rays there was an undertone of bio-freeze in the air, I uncontrollably blurted out " gettin' some sun on my neck girl!!" When I got home, I smelled the horrific odor once again.  I realized the odor was from the dog scat on my shoes that I wore during the 2 previous visits.   That was embarrassing..... I burned the shoes. Visits 4 through 12 were all similarily, ( similarility? ..... simililaritly?.. how the hell do you spell that?...anyway,.....) the same.    I waa given a pack of them paper toilet seat covers, but thats a story for another time.   All of the therapists care about me.   One even made sure I made it to my truck when we were done.     They always made me feel at home, they made me laugh, even cry a couple times, but when you wear your favorite outfit and not get any positive, motivational affirmations on said outfit, it hurts. Visit 13  (graduation day) The door was opened for me and I teared up, but I pulled it together cause I ain't no sissy boy.      Did my therapy like a boss, as I went to leave everyone,..I mean EVERYONE hugged me. Even employees from the family dollar came over and hugged me. It was awkward, but pleasant.      They made sure I got into the right truck, and was blowing me kisses as I drove away.    I learned alot from my time I spent there.    Most importantly "never lick a dead horse in the mouth"    I also learned that horses will pull your hair out by the roots. I was reading some other reviews for some inspiration and I couldn't agree more with 1 particular review,.... " She proud her. She is killing it outside right now." I was driving from New Lex to Lancaster for PT. I transferred here at home. I love saving that drive time! PT team here is great! Not only does my arm get a great workout but this crew is lively too, making it fun. My arms 85% better in just a few visits. So worth participating in to avoid problems later. Knowledgeable, friendly staff! Very professional with a bit of fun. Doing PT three times a week can get overwhelming but I always leave in a better mood knowing I’m accomplishing what I need to do to get better. Facility is clean and they are always looking for ways to improve patient care with new equipment and exercises. They are busy but I always get the one on one care that is important when doing PT.
