Kara, Kylee, and Jessica are truly wonderful—kind, caring, knowledgeable, and they somehow manage to make physical therapy fun. Their encouragement and genuine support made such a difference for me, and I always felt welcomed and motivated at every visit. In the fall of 2023, I commenced physical therapy at CrossRoads Physical Therapy. Initially, I was hesitant to visit due to an unpleasant interaction with the former receptionist, which I documented in a review. However, the owner, Kevin Perris, promptly apologized for the incident and extended an invitation to give CrossRoads another chance. I am grateful for this opportunity. From my initial evaluation, I was confident that I had made the correct decision. The Physical Therapists and Physical Therapy Assistants demonstrated knowledge, friendliness, and compassion. I made significant progress until unforeseen circumstances compelled me to discontinue my visits. A few months later, I resumed my therapy, but I encountered pain during the exercises. Unfortunately, I had to cease my visits again. As I have Parkinson’s disease, physical therapy was essential for my well-being. I eventually resumed therapy and experienced pain in the same area. To resolve the issue, I engaged in a strategic approach involving my insurance company. I obtained a computed tomography (CT) scan to identify the underlying cause of my pain. In accordance with my insurance company’s requirement of six weeks of physical therapy, I was prescribed seated exercises to minimize the exacerbation of my back pain. After fulfilling the six-week physical therapy mandate, I received a CT scan and consulted Dr. Tune at Wheeling Hospital. On September 16th, I will undergo a steroid injection, which I am hopeful will alleviate my pain. Prior to the injection, I was progressing well with the exercise plan prescribed by CrossRoads Physical Therapy, and I eagerly anticipate resuming my therapy. My wife Linda had physical therapy from May 24 to Sept 6, 2024 for rehab from left knee replacement and I'm now having P/T for my neck & upper spine.  We are both pleasantly satisfied with their complete staff. We've never experienced such a professional staff that actually makes P/T enjoyable! Dr. Kara Jewell-Welling has always been my physical therapist and she is the one I recommended for my daughter and my granddaughter. She’s extremely knowledgeable and equally efficient with her care and after care. I think the thing that keeps me going back to her is my level of trust in all that she does. I started going here in October of this year for Pelvic Floor physical therapy. I highly recommend. Staff is very personable, and works with your needs. They were also able to easily work around my schedule, which made it convenient for longer term therapy. My pain has been cut in half, which has allowed me to begin to work out again. This place is beyond professional. They are calm, patient, and really take their time with everything they do. I have deep muscle tension in my knee, neck, back, and arms, and I have to say I feel much, much better. They work extemsively on many different parts of the body. They do much more than any other therapy centers you may have gone to, or go to. They do scrapping, laser therapy, stem therapy, and neddle therapy, just to name some; incorapted with stretching and warming up. You can call and get an appointment set up at a convenient time. He is one of those people that you feel comfortable to talk to immediately. His style of professionalism and friendly personality are hard to come by. I would recommend him without any reservations.
